DB Homes Recognized with National Award for Home Design

JOHNSTOWN, PA – In a ceremony that took place at the Building Systems Council’s annual Fall Showcase conference and trade show in Washington, DC, Ritz-Craft Corporation accepted an award on behalf of DB Homes. DB Homes corporate offices are located on 706 Eisenhower Blvd, Johnstown, PA.
A custom two-story home design by DB Homes won the 2014 Jerry Rouleau Award for Excellence in Home Design in the 3,001 – 4,000 sq. ft. category. The award, presented by the Building Systems Council and the National Association of Home Builders, is the first national award for DB Homes. The award winning home, which resides in Johnstown, PA, was designed by owner Dick Burke Jr. and his wife Amy Burke.
For more than a decade, the Building Systems Council (BSC), a division of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), has promoted excellence in the systems-built industry. The Jerry Rouleau Awards for Excellence – acknowledges building systems professionals in the categories of exceptional home design – are seen as the pinnacle of achievement in advancing the technology of building systems.
