Dick Burke, Jr., Owner and President of D.B. Homes, Inc. had his first exposure to the modular home business when his father began to dabble in the industry. He quickly realized it might be the opportunity he had been seeking and founded D.B. Homes, Inc. in 2001. The first office was an unmarked, family-owned garage in Dale Borough that offered no parking.
Burke’s brother-in-law, Keith Skowron, was the only other employee at the time and serves as the company’s General Manager. Shortly after, D.B. Homes partnered up with Ritz-Craft Corporation, who has over 50 years of experience building modular homes and is located in Mifflinburg, PA. and currently employs an average of 10 full-time employees. D.B. Homes has come a long way since it’s unmarked office.
