At DB Homes, we've passionately simplified the homebuilding process for over two deacdes, driven by an unmatched dedication to craftsmanship and delivering high-quality homes. Our journey began with a vision to make dream homes a reality for every family.

Dick Burke, Jr., Owner and President of DB Homes, Inc., found his calling in the home building industry when his father began exploring modular construction. Recognizing a unique opportunity, Dick founded DB Homes, Inc. in 2001, initially operating from a humble, family-owned garage in Dale Borough. Alongside his brother-in-law, Keith Skowron, who serves as the company's General Manager, DB Homes quickly established itself.

Early on, we forged a valuable partnership with Ritz-Craft Corporation, a company with over 50 years of experience in modular home building. Today, DB Homes is proud to employ an average of 10 dedicated full-time professionals, a testament to our significant growth from our original office.

Our Corporate Office & Design Center
After five years in our original Dale Borough office, DB Homes proudly opened its new state-of-the-art 1,500 sq ft Corporate Office & Design Center on Eisenhower Boulevard in Johnstown, PA, in 2006. This modern facility serves as an inspiring display center, showcasing countless options for our future homeowners to add the perfect finishing touches to their custom home.

We further enhanced the customer experience by opening our first model home to the public in 2008 – the Montauk, a spacious 2,400+ sq ft two-story model featuring four bedrooms. Since 2013, we've expanded our offerings with a second Ranch model home, the Azalea, designed specifically for customers seeking affordable single-level living with an open-concept design. Currently, our Hudson (two-story) and Azalea (ranch) models are on display, ready to inspire your choices.
